About Us

Shababul Eidiz Zahabi (London) is a sub-committee of the Dawoodi Bohra jamaat, Anjuman-e-Burhani (London), headed by the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS).  The Shabab organisation was originally formed in 1962 on the occasion of Saifee Eid-iz-Zahabi, commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (AQ) Moula as Dai al-Mutlaq.  Shababul Eidiz Zahabi (London) was formed in 1976, and the current constitution was written in 2005.  Our aims are to:

  • Assist the upliftment of mumineen with respect to Aqa Moula’s (TUS) farman mubarak.
  • Organise activities and schemes to facilitate mumineen youngsters to:
    • Gain ilm and perform khidmat of Dawat.
    • Recite The Quran with tarteel with tajweed.
    • Attend Ashara Mubarakah with Aqa Moula (TUS).
    • Learn and encourage the use of Lisan al-Dawat.
    • Facilitate scholarships for students.
    • Plan for youngsters to become “business minded” not “service minded”.
    • Help choose career paths that are compliant with shariat.
    • Make aware the effects of polluting the environment.
    • Create a spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie.
  • Maintain the physical and mental wellbeing of youngsters.
  • Encourage patriotism to the United Kingdom and participate in the local community.
