On 12 Rabi-ul-Aakhar, 1431H (Saturday 27th March 2010) SEZ London held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the seminar hall of Mohammedi Park Masjid Complex straight after Imamat Maghrib-Isha namaaz in Al-Masjid al-Husainy. The meeting was graced with the presence of Janab Muawin Aamil Saheb, Zainulabedin Bhaisaheb Zainuddin.

The program commenced with Tilawat al-Quran, followed by a presentation about SEZ London.

The presentation began with an overview of the constitution and outlined SEZ London’s goals and activities for the past year, including activities during taabudat, the preliminary results of the survey, and news about our sporting activities. A summary of SEZ London’s finances, and advertisements for forthcoming activities were also presented. The idea of London Jamaat Business Directory was also launched.

After an open discussion all members were invited to mingle with each other over a pizza buffet. A total of 38 SEZ London members attended this year’s AGM.

SEZ London are particularly grateful to Janab Muawin Aamil Saheb, Zainulabedin Bhaisaheb Zainuddin for chairing the Annual General Meeting and making it a success. Special thanks to all of you who took time out to fill in the initial questionnaire on Business Directory.

May Allah grant our Aqa Moula (TUS) a long and prosperous life in sehat and aafiyat till Yawm al-Qiyamat, and grant us the tawfeeq and quwat to continue to perform Aqa Moula’s (TUS) khidmat. Ameen!

With all the joy and khushi of miqaat 99th Milad Dai Zamaan TUS, SEZ London are celebrating by organising a mela on BANK HOLIDAY Monday 5th April 2010 after Zohr/Asr Namaaz.

Stalls will be hosted in Ewan-e-Saifee and Mawaid-e-Burhaniya, and holders can set up from 12pm. Each stall will cost £20 per table for non-food stalls (i.e. retail business etc.), and £20 per table for food stalls, with a limit of only two food items per food stall.

FOOD STALLS: Please note that cooking will strictly NOT be allowed in the Mawaid area. Shared kitchen facilities can be made available for frying. Please contact us for further details.
